Makeup can be incomplete without a highlighter that adds a finishing glow to the face. I always wanted to purchase a good quality highlighter and I was eyeing the TheBalm Mary Lou Manizer since long and I bought it finally few months back. Packaging:
Packaging is my Favourite part here! The Product comes in flip open flat circular container with a mirror just like a compact powder. The outer design is of a pretty blonde and some funny things written on it. Overall it looks really attractive. The highlighter comes in a very sturdy container and closes with a satisfying click. It is travel friendly.
Texture:
Highlighter is very soft to apply since it is really fine powdered and compacted. The soft texture makes blending easy and gives an even finish.
Shade:
TheBalm Mary Lou Manizer has a lovely honey hued shade that should match all skin tones ad types.
How I use and staying power:
I use this highlighter at the end of makeup. After I am done with blush, I swipe the powder brush over highlighter, tap off the excess and just swipe-swipe-swipe my cheek bones and brow bones. It instantly adds a healthy glow to my face and also contours a bit. If you want to do a full contouring, you may use a bronzer too. This highlighter does not dry out the skin or highlight dry patches nor does it make skin oily- and I think this is the best part of using this product!
This highlighter adds a subtle glow to your face without making you look over the top. Very natural glow and stays all day- mark my words!
